This is a full-time internship beginning immediately. The intern will be a member of JaRco&#8217;s team on the ground in Addis Ababa and will undertake the following Scope of Work.<\/p>\n<p>*\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Support the program department in implementing a variety of projects.<br \/>\n*\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Participate in the coordination of field work.<br \/>\n*\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Participate in tool design and development.<br \/>\n*\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Engage in qualitative and quantitative research.<\/p>\n<p>*\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Assist with quantitative data entry and analysis.<br \/>\n*\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Assist with documentation and report writing.<br \/>\n*\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Assist with proposal development as required.<\/p>\n<p><em>Desired:<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Master\u2019s degree in development studies, economics, public health, gender, or related field;<\/li>\n<li>Experience in project planning and implementation;<\/li>\n<li>Experience in proposal- and report-writing;<\/li>\n<li>Experience living in a developing country;<\/li>\n<li>Development-related work experience in NGOs, research institutes, donor agencies, and\/or consulting firms;<\/li>\n<li>Experience using CSPro, SPSS, or other data analysis software;<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated ability to manage high-level relationships with clients and partner organizations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Transport Cost and Remuneration <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This is a full-time assignment and a modest monthly stipend will be paid to cover all living expenses. In addition, round trip air ticket cost will be covered by JaRco.
