MHH contributes to the Sustainable Development Goals <\/span><span lang=\"EN-GB\" style=\"color: black;\">and<\/span><span lang=\"EN-GB\"> more widely to realising gender equality and human rights. Itad with JaRco and Stats4SD have brought together a consortium including Julie Hennegan from the Burnet Institute to undertake the impact evaluation and third-party verification of water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) infrastructure and MHH products. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"ItadNormalText\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">The combination of impact evaluation and verification aims to fulfil two purposes: (i) it provides robust data to verify that pre-defined social outcomes have been achieved (five outcome metrics) to enable AFD to repay social investors; and (ii) through collecting additional relevant data, the impact evaluation will make a substantial contribution to the evolving knowledge base on MHH in Ethiopia and globally. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"ItadNormalText\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">In addition, evidence from the impact evaluation will assist CARE in implementation, with data from the midline MHH survey being valuable for adjustment and course correction.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"ItadNormalText\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"ItadNormalText\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">JaRco is responsible for data collection and contributing to the analysis of the impact evaluation component, while fully responsible for the implementation of third-party verification of water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) infrastructure and MHH products.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"parent":0,"template":"","sector":[110,116],"client":[123],"country":[10],"project-status":[8],"class_list":["post-2350","project","type-project","status-publish","hentry","sector-health","sector-water-sanitation-hygiene-wash","client-afd","country-ethiopia","project-status-active"],"jetpack_sharing_enabled":true,"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/jarco.info\/wordpress\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/project\/2350","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/jarco.info\/wordpress\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/project"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/jarco.info\/wordpress\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/project"}],"version-history":[{"count":1,"href":"https:\/\/jarco.info\/wordpress\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/project\/2350\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":2351,"href":"https:\/\/jarco.info\/wordpress\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/project\/2350\/revisions\/2351"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/jarco.info\/wordpress\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=2350"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"sector","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/jarco.info\/wordpress\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/sector?post=2350"},{"taxonomy":"client","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/jarco.info\/wordpress\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/client?post=2350"},{"taxonomy":"country","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/jarco.info\/wordpress\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/country?post=2350"},{"taxonomy":"project-status","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/jarco.info\/wordpress\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/project-status?post=2350"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
