JaRco conducted quantitative data collection to assess the entire socio-economic situation in the region to guide future development endeavors. The study collected information from an adequate representative sample across the region to reflect the details of agro-ecological variations of the region for the purpose of diversification and specialization of agricultural development. The data was also disaggregated by sex, age, ethnicity, occupation, zone, woreda, kebele, place of residence, and other social groupings within the society.
