Designing and Implementation of Disaster Risk Management Monitoring and Evaluation systems

This assignment requires JaRco to develop a Disaster Risk Management (RAM -F) MEL system for the Zambian and Zimbabwean governments that aligns with their respective national DRM-F strategies. This M&E system is expected to support in-country decision making on the implementation of the national contingency plans, while ensuring accountability and providing the necessary knowledge and information for disaster risk management and financing in both countries.

Description of actual services provided by JaRco within the assignment:

  1. Design of the monitoring framework
  2. Design of reporting formats
  3. Automate the M&E system  -web based M&E system
  4. Capacity enhancement
  5. Backstopping: JaRco will provides ongoing support to the government based on needs and closely followed-up with the implementation of the M&E system including the revision of monitoring formats; The reviewing of the performance of the monitoring system; provision of additional refresher training on M&E.
